Montreal catcher Adrien Gras had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Nashville Hot Chickens, 7-3. Victor Lagers earned the win for Montreal. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 3-3. The Machine are now 26-28.
With Montreal leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Gras hit a screwball from Javier Cuesta for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Machine ahead, 5-0.
