Redlegs Stick Nobles with 2-1 Loss
|
In a low-scoring game between Sacramento and Bakersfield, pitcher Christos Waddington was excellent. The Sacramento right-hander helped his team knock off the Nobles, 2-1. Sacramento is now 20-34, while Bakersfield is 30-24.
Ángelo Carrasco drove in one run against the Nobles. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Sacramento in front, 2-1.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Waddington told the Sacramento News. "Whatever it takes."
