|
Sacramento catcher Jung Chan-sung had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Jersey City Tritons, 7-4. Jeff McDonald got the win, improving to 2-0. He held the Tritons to 4 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Sacramento's record now stands at 32-24, placing them second in the Premier AAA.
Second Baseman Ángelo Carrasco made an impact for Sacramento, when he swatted a 2-run double off Albert Wallace in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Carrasco went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
