Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Baton Rouge Brass.

The Sioux Falls Red Pandas beat the Baton Rouge Brass, 6-4, at The Bamboo Forest. Dong-soo Yi, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs. Jorge Torres got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings.

Yi had a big hit for Sioux Falls with no one out in the bottom of the fifth. With Sioux Falls leading 3-2, Yi hit a solo home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Red Pandas up, 4-2.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Sioux Falls manager Fred Leos.

The loss makes Baton Rouge 28-28.
