The Baton Rouge Brass found a way to sneak past the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-3, in 10 innings. Baton Rouge pitcher Jorge Carranza, for one, had a standout performance. Peter O'Farrell notched his 2nd save of the season. With the win, Baton Rouge pushed its record to 36-20.

Nick Everett, who is tied for 5th in the PAAA in stolen bases with 6, had a direct impact on the outcome. Everett contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the tenth inning to put Baton Rouge up, 4-3.
