A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Boston Patriots and New Orleans Voodoo.

The Boston Patriots defeated the New Orleans Voodoo, 7-2, at The Voodoo Lounge. Boston designated hitter Chong-hun Chon had a superb performance. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Juan Sánchez got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings.

In the first inning, Chon had a 2-run home run for Boston. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Patriots on top, 2-0.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Chon. "You've got to get results."

The Patriots improved to 29-15.
