Fievet hits 2 home runs as Flyers Squeeze Past Syracuse
The Syracuse Starks and Pennsauken Flyers provided some drama for the home crowd.

Thanks in large part to third baseman Andy Fievet, the Pennsauken Flyers beat the Syracuse Starks, 5-4. Fievet hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jim Smith picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-1 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 4 in 7 innings, while yielding 4 runs.

With Pennsauken trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Fievet hit a fastball from Jorge Vázquez for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Flyers ahead, 3-1.

Pennsauken manager Culley Adjeng commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."

The win elevated the Flyers to 31-27.
