Redlegs Suffer One-Run Loss at Nashville
|
Javier Cuesta, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA in strikeouts with 59, was locked in. The left-hander led the Nashville Hot Chickens to a 5-4 win against the Sacramento Redlegs at Hot Chickens Park. The winner was Cuesta. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Christos Waddington. The Redlegs, now 21-38, have lost 4 straight.
Sergio Poston, the Nashville third baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 4-1, Hot Chickens. For the game, Poston went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI.
