The Pennsauken Flyers handed the Syracuse Starks a 6-3 defeat at Stark Stadium. Third Baseman Stu Kennedy starred for Pennsauken. He went 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Flyers move to 36-24 with the win, while the Starks drop to 29-31.

With Pennsauken leading 4-1 in the top of the sixth, Kennedy hit a 2-run single off Syracuse hurler Cisco Morales. It was the 10th hit of the season for Kennedy and put his team ahead, 6-1.
