The Tortolita Drummers took on the Sacramento Redlegs at Drummers Ballpark.

A 3-RBI performance from Wayne Schmidt helped the Tortolita Drummers beat the Sacramento Redlegs, 11-7. Fernando Bustamante earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Earning his 5th save of the year was Richello Dosono.

The Drummers got a big at-bat from catcher Sibrand Boermeester, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 2-run double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Drummers on top, 8-5.

"We came out aggressive," said Drummers manager Marcos Costa. "We came out swinging the bats."

Tortolita is in second place in the Premier AAA with a record of 35-25.
