The Sacramento Redlegs beat the Norfolk Pajaritos, 4-2, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The win was due in part to designated hitter Elvin Baldwin, who slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Jack Albert finished to wrap up his 1st save. Sacramento, at 24-38, occupies last place in the Premier AAA.

In the first inning, Baldwin had a 2-run home run for Sacramento. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Redlegs on top, 2-0.

Baldwin attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
