The Syracuse Starks topped the Bakersfield Nobles, 5-3, in 10 innings at Jerome Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Syracuse pitcher Bob Porter. Richello Dosono earned the save for Syracuse. Syracuse, at 31-32, sits in 4th place in the Premier AAA.

In the top of the tenth, Milo Hamilton, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA in triples with 3, delivered for Syracuse. That's when he belted a 2-run home run, putting the Starks up, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a climactic one.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Bakersfield manager Timmy Appeldoorn.
