The Sacramento Redlegs defeated the Syracuse Starks, 6-4, in USPL Triple A action at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Sacramento pitcher Joe Davis had a standout performance. Dan Taylor picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Geoffrey Da Costa suffered the loss. Sacramento has now won 4 games in a row.

The Redlegs got a big at-bat from left fielder Manny Marrero. For the game, Marrero was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Sacramento a 6-4 lead.
