The Nashville Hot Chickens clipped the Baton Rouge Brass, 8-5, in 10 innings at Brass Field. The standout performance belonged to Nashville pitcher and Cúcuta, Colombia, native Javier Cuesta. Nashville pitcher Marlon Anderson got the win, upping his record to 1-2. Anthony Bailey got the loss. The win has Nashville at 26-38.
This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Dong-su Yun drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Hot Chickens took the lead, 5-4.
"It was our day today," Yun told the Nashville Daily. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
