Brass Zap Flyers, 5-1
|
Jorge Valdéz brought his A-game to help Baton Rouge defeat the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-1. The current losing streak for Pennsauken has reached 5 games.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Matt Bane hit a double. The Brass went on to win.
"Jorge was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Baton Rouge manager Luis Ruíz.
