The Pennsauken Flyers pinned a convincing loss on the Baton Rouge Brass, 9-3, at Brass Field. Danny Kline was a main factor in the win. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Pennsauken. Rich Banks, who is tied for 5th in the PAAA in complete games with 1, was the winner. He's now 5-4. The loser was José Zamora. Pennsauken has a record of 37-29, placing them third in the Premier AAA.

Pennsauken used the timely hitting of Cortland Talman to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Flyers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Kline said. "We did a good job of that today."
