Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves and Pennsauken Flyers.
The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves picked up a win at Pennsauken Park, knocking off the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-2. Starting pitcher Manuel Juárez played a key role in the triumph. The Premier AAA-leading Liberty Reserves are 41-26.
Manny Coronado dealt the Flyers a blow in the top of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Philadelphia leading 3-1, Coronado hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.
"Manuel throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Philadelphia manager Kiril Neuvel.
