The Sioux Falls Red Pandas topped the Monongahela Monsters, 3-1, in USPL Triple A action at Timber Hawks Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Sioux Falls pitcher Alan Jackson. In 8 innings, Jackson surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Bill Williams converted his 3rd save in 3 tries.

Sergio Rivera, the 32-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rivera contributed a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put Sioux Falls up, 2-0.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Rivera.
