Despite a fine performance by shortstop Joe Raymond, the Mexico City Blue Demons lost to the Toronto Thunder, 5-3. Raymond was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The save went to Ron Murphy, number 12 for him. Toronto is now 26-20. Mexico City is 20-26.

Fuzzy Benas aided the Toronto cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 times.
