Pajaritos Suffer 2-1 Road Loss
|
The Pennsauken Flyers eked out a 2-1 win versus the Norfolk Pajaritos at Pennsauken Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Dave Henley. He was terrific. Picking up his 2nd save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Irving Rascal. With the victory, the Flyers upped their record to 38-29.
Reinaart Zegers, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA in triples with 3, helped out the Pennsauken cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Zegers.
