Redlegs Get One-Run Win at Plymouth
The Plymouth Rocks could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Matt Jones into a win. Instead, the Sacramento Redlegs prevailed, 3-2. Jones threw 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball. Sacramento reliever You-liang Xin was credited with the win. His record goes to 5-0. Juan Gutiérrez took the loss for Plymouth. The Redlegs are now 42-26, while the Rocks fall to 30-38.

Sacramento used the hitting of Ray Harden to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Redlegs on top, 2-1. For the game, Harden had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I thought we competed really well," said Redlegs manager Luis Ríos. "I thought the energy was really good."
