The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds handed the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys a loss at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The final score was 2-1. Daniel Tidwell was one of the major contributors for Ellenburg. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 2. Holden Roberts earned the win to go to 6-3. He allowed 1 run on 1 hits, with 4 walks and 2 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Dave Hanna was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities.
In the bottom of the first, Tidwell had a 2-run home run for Ellenburg. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Fighting Dachshunds on top, 2-0.
