Redlegs Lose Contest, 5-2

Bakersfield pitcher Aaron Daniels had a large part in his team subduing the Sacramento Redlegs, 5-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. At 32-37, the Nobles claim 8th place in the Premier AAA.
Bakersfield grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Jorge Santos delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1, in favor of the Nobles.
"I thought we played a nice game," Santos told the Bakersfield Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
