Jorge Souza, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA in wins with 9, was terrific for the Jersey City Tritons in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Tortolita Drummers. His performance earned Souza rave reviews. Anthony Carney locked down his 9th save. Today's win puts Jersey City at 35-34, while Tortolita falls to 31-38.

The Tritons got an important contribution from right fielder Clifton Roberson, who in the bottom of the third hit a changeup to left for a 2-run double. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Tritons ahead, 2-1.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Roberson told the Jersey City Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
