At Jersey City Grounds, the Pennsauken Flyers and Jersey City Tritons were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Jersey City Tritons pitcher Stanton Maxwell was in top form, leading his team past the Pennsauken Flyers, 7-0. The 6th-place Tritons are 34-37.

Maxwell, who dominated for Jersey City, earned the victory to move to 5-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 11. Pennsauken batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Stanton set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Jersey City manager John Sirica.
