Fighting Dachshunds Beat Pajaritos, 5-1, at Dog Park in Ellenburg
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds topped the Norfolk Pajaritos, 5-1, in USPL Triple A action at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The standout performance belonged to Ellenburg pitcher and Bowling Green, Kentucky, native Jeffrey Garrett. Garrett got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 4 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. The save was credited to Joe Winters, his 1st.

Armando Otero chipped in a 3-run home run for Ellenburg in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
