Bakersfield Nobles starter Nick Johnston turned in an exceptional performance against the Sacramento Redlegs at Jerome Grounds, resulting in a Bakersfield win, 4-2. The first-place Nobles have a record of 59-17.

Steven Flowe cracked a home run off Zebulon Pike in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Nobles on top, 4-2. In all, Flowe had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
