The Norfolk Pajaritos beat the Tortolita Drummers, 7-2. Norfolk pitcher and Havana, Cuba, native Álex Landol led the way. The 4th-place Pajaritos go to 41-35.

In the top of the first, Michael Austin ambushed a 2-1 fastball from Carlos Gómez and hit a 3-run home run. It gave Norfolk a quick 3-0 lead.

Austin called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
