The Kansas Rainbeaus powered past the Syracuse Starks, 10-6, at Stark Stadium. Paul Sherman provided some of the pop. He was 2 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Kansas pitcher Bob Bradley got the win. He's now 9-1. Todd Johnson was tagged with the loss. In the top of the fifth, with the game tied, Syracuse allowed the Rainbeaus to go up, 5-4, on a Syracuse error.
