David Sullivan, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA in complete games with 2, imposed his will on the Flyers from the get-go. Relying mainly on his curveball, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Bakersfield triumph. The Nobles improved their record to 39-39 with the win over Pennsauken.

Sullivan allowed 1 run over 8 innings. He also racked up 8 strikeouts.
