Pennsauken pitcher Artie González did his part in helping his team beat the Tortolita Drummers, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Felipe González closed it out for his 3rd save. At 44-36, Pennsauken is in third place in the Premier AAA.

Pennsauken left fielder Phil Thomas made an impact. He drilled a 2-run single in the bottom of the third. In the contest, Thomas went 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
