Redlegs Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
|
Sacramento starter Jack Hill pitched well against the Baton Rouge Brass at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Bobby Taylor claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 3-0. With the victory, the Redlegs upped their record to 47-34.
The Redlegs got a clutch hit from center fielder Ramiro Muñóz. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Redlegs.
"The crowd was boisterous today," said Hill.
