Florence pitcher Héctor Salas did his part in helping his team defeat the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Miguel Hernández was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 11 save opportunities. The Flamingos go to 30-52 with the win.

Florence took a 4-2 lead on Bill Miller's 1st triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which Miller hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Sacramento pitcher Zebulon Pike visibly frustrated.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Salas after the game.
