Patriots Suffer 3-2 Loss to New Orleans
|
Starting pitcher Alex Thompson gave the New Orleans Voodoo a rock-solid effort. The Honolulu, Hawaii native helped his team defeat the Boston Patriots, 3-2, at The Voodoo Lounge. Dexter Yates picked up the save for New Orleans, his 2nd of the year. New Orleans has run its win streak to 10 straight.
In the bottom of the third, Janpey Kille delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the New Orleans left fielder hit a 3-run home run, putting the Voodoo in front, 3-2.
"Everybody is chipping in right now," said Kille. "That's what makes it so much fun."
