The Sacramento Redlegs stopped the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-4, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The Redlegs got a big game from Danny Woodward, who was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Jeff McDonald, 6-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. With the win, the Redlegs improved to 46-37.
