Brass Pin 7-4 Loss on Nashville
|
Baton Rouge center fielder Bill Barnes had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Nashville Hot Chickens, 7-4. Baton Rouge pitcher Larry Bryant got the win. He's now 1-1. Wessel de Best was tagged with the loss. Will Gordon picked up the save, his 8th.
With Baton Rouge leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Barnes hit a fastball from Wessel de Best for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Brass ahead, 4-0.
