Landry Plays Big Role in Jersey City Win
|
The Jersey City Tritons downed the Baton Rouge Brass, 6-0, at Brass Field. Jersey City pitcher Danny Landry had a scintillating performance. Today's win puts Jersey City at 35-49, while Baton Rouge falls to 49-35.
Landry, a native of Glendale, Arizona, was dealing all game. He kept Baton Rouge hitters off-balance, while giving the Tritons 8 quality innings. Landry threw 102 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6.
