The Syracuse Starks defeated the Sacramento Redlegs by the score of 13-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Jeffrey Sparks. Sparks went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Starks on the day. Millard Clement picked up the win, lifting his record to 6-7 on the season.
