The Sacramento Redlegs scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Pennsauken Flyers at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Sacramento pitcher Christos Waddington held his own in the contest. Their 36-50 record puts the Redlegs 9th in the Premier AAA.
Had Rob Hancock not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Hancock hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Redlegs.
"When Christos is on, he can really move the ball around," said Sacramento manager Kyle Lucas.
