Starks Suffer 5-3 Road Loss
The Pennsauken Flyers topped the Syracuse Starks, 5-3, in USPL Triple A action at Pennsauken Park. The standout performance belonged to Pennsauken pitcher and Green Bay, Wisconsin, native Artie González. Lawrence Hayden, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save. The third-place Flyers now sit at 46-41.

Pennsauken shortstop Kenny Wilson landed a blow when he belted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. It was his 1st home run of the season. With it, the Flyers took a 3-0 lead.

"I went out and just tried to do my job," said González.
