The Pennsauken Flyers handed the Montreal Machine a 5-4 defeat at Stade Olympique. Catcher Ty Riese starred for Pennsauken. He was 2-2 with a double and 2 walks. The Flyers, at 47-41, have now won 5 straight.

Pennsauken needed the clutch hitting of Phil Thomas to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flyers on top, 5-4. For the game, Thomas had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
