Brass Lose to Tortolita, 7-6

Fans watched the Tortolita Drummers and the Baton Rouge Brass fight to the finish.
The Tortolita Drummers used the hitting of shortstop Rob Robinson to subdue the Baton Rouge Brass, 7-6. For the game, Robinson went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Joe Jenkins earned the save, his 18th.
In the bottom of the first, Robinson had a 3-run home run for Tortolita. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Drummers on top, 3-0.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Robinson told the Tortolita Gazette.
The Brass have now dropped 5 straight.
