Pennsauken and Bakersfield got after it at Pennsauken Park.
Jorge Ybarra impressed in the 7-3 Pennsauken win over Bakersfield. Ybarra, who is tied for 8th in the PAAA with a .282 batting average, was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Flyers saw their win-loss record go to 50-40. At the same time, the Nobles fell to 50-40.
Pennsauken took a 5-2 lead on Ybarra's 11th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Aaron Daniels in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Pennsauken to the win.
"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Flyers manager Dave Morse.
