The Tortolita Drummers topped the Sacramento Redlegs, 12-7, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Tortolita left fielder Frazer Gent was a spark plug for the offense. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Carlos Ortega wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. Tortolita has a record of 49-43, placing them 5th in the Premier AAA.

Tortolita used the timely hitting of Bill Webb to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Drummers ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
