In a tension-filled contest between the Baltimore Bullets and the Buffalo White Walkers, pitcher Larry Wallace was superb. The Baltimore right-hander, the 17th overall pick in the 2057 draft, spearheaded his team's 1-0 win. The last-place Bullets improved to 18-30.

Baltimore got a clutch hit from Nathan Dixon. The shortstop socked a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"That's what this team is about," said Wallace, "picking each other up."
