Syracuse Picks Up Another L
The Montreal Machine downed the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 6-0, at The Zoo in Syracuse. Montreal pitcher Devin Hancock definitely brought his A-game. Hancock got the win, improving to 8-3. He gave up 6 hits and walked 4 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Syracuse.

Montreal used a clutch at-bat from Dorian Sandoval to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Machine ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Syracuse manager Ramón Barrueco.
