Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Brass
|
The Baton Rouge Brass picked up a win at Brass Field, dropping the Sacramento Redlegs, 3-1. Kevin Webb, who is tied for 3rd in the PAAA in quality starts with 13, was the difference-maker. The win went to Woody Lee in relief, making him now 1-2. José Salinas took the loss for Sacramento. The Brass raised their record to 46-48.
Baton Rouge got a knockout punch from Paco Hernández. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Hernández.
