Nobles Win Thriller, 2-0
|
David Sullivan, who leads the PAAA in complete games with 3, had a strong outing for the Bakersfield Nobles against the Montreal Machine at Jerome Grounds. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 2-0 win. Bakersfield is 8th in the Premier AAA with a record of 45-49.
Bakersfield got a game-changing hit from Owen Bagshaw. The pinch hitter blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Bagshaw said.
