Jersey City and Sacramento duked it out and the Tritons came out victorious.

Jersey City ruined an otherwise fine effort from Jack Hill by toppling Sacramento, 6-3. The Sacramento pitcher threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Pablo Moreno earned the win for Jersey City. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 4-2.

Jersey City used the clutch hitting of António Merano to snag the win. The shortstop drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Tritons ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"Winning never gets dull," said Merano.

The Tritons now own a record of 48-46.
