The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves and Baton Rouge Brass put on quite a show.

The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves found a way to sneak past the Baton Rouge Brass, 5-4, in 10 innings. Philadelphia pitcher Manuel Juárez, for one, had a standout performance. Reliever Peter Smith picked up the win. His record improves to 3-3. Kevin Webb, who leads the PAAA with a 8.9 K/9 rate, took the loss.

David Johnson found himself in a pressure situation in the top of the tenth. Facing Baton Rouge hurler Kevin Webb, the 21-year-old shortstop hit a sacrifice fly. His 45th RBI of the season put the Liberty Reserves on top, 5-4.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Luis Ruíz.

The win puts Philadelphia at 54-41 this season.
