The Tortolita Drummers and Hartford Pride put on quite a show.

The Tortolita Drummers besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Hartford catcher Steve Cline by beating the Pride, 9-7, at Pride Park. Cline belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Tortolita has won 3 straight, while Hartford has lost 4 in a row.

The most important at-bat for Tortolita came in the top of the tenth inning, when catcher Adrián Serrano stroked a first pitch curveball to left for a run-scoring single, putting Tortolita up, 8-7.

"Baseball is a wild game -- a crazy game, sometimes," said Serrano.
