Behind a fine performance from Yerson Acevedo, the Montreal Machine knocked off the Sacramento Redlegs, 6-5. Acevedo was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Machine. Arthur Anderson, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save.

Dylan Bettinson chipped in for Montreal, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning. For the game, the right fielder was 2-4 with a double.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Montreal manager Alfonso Vera.
