The Pennsauken Flyers picked up a win at Brass Field, knocking off the Baton Rouge Brass, 8-4. On the mound for Pennsauken was right-hander Cornell Rogers. He played a key role in the triumph. The second-place Flyers hiked their record to 54-42.

Pennsauken used the hitting of Danny Kline to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Flyers on top, 2-0. For the game, Kline had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
