The Baton Rouge Brass topped the Montreal Machine, 7-5, in USPL Triple A action at Stade Olympique. The game was highlighted by the performance of Baton Rouge pitcher Jesús Rosas. The first-place Brass, at 61-36, now lead their division by 7 games.

Baton Rouge relied on the bat of Paco Hernández to get the win. The third baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put the Brass ahead, 3-0. For the game, Hernández had 1 double and 1 triple in 3 at-bats.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Rosas.
